X-Treme Off Roader Direct Drive Infrared Controlled |
Each rear wheel has a build-in Power
Function XL Motor (# 8882). If you do not (like me) have two converter cables to change polarity
of one motor, AND you do not have a polarity switch (like in set 8297), then
you will need two IR-Receivers to do the trick!
In this model the IR-Receiver for the Left Wheel is internally
modified. The wire to pin #2 is
exchanged with the one to pin #3.
This causes the motor to turn in the opposite direction. Set both receivers onto the same channel (1 to 4) and off you go! |

Inlets, Antennas and Six Rally Lights - Widened windscreen - Protective Side Bars and extra Bull Bar at
the front - Exhaust pipes - A turning steering wheel in a restyled
dashboard - Metallic look with Black details instead
of gray - Transparent motor block - Two Infrared Sensors in the roof - Two extra motors for remote driving &

|
RC-Jeep |
Solid Jeep using an extended battery pack as remote control. The car
has 2 9V geared motors. The 1st
for driving (rear tires) and the 2nd for steering the front
tires. A 3rd 9V Motor is attached to the Battery Pack and is
working as a generator when turning the steering wheel on the battery pack.
Now motor #2 will follow the moves of motor #3. The Jeep follows the
direction you point out with your steering wheel. The differential assures
smooth riding through the turns. Connected with two 125cm wires to keep safe
distance! J |

Stone Cruiser |
This ALL WHEEL DRIVE vehicle has no fear for enormous mountains of
Lego Bricks. It cruises along all types of terrain without any hesitation.
All eight wheels are powered. The suspension is rather extreme, almost as
extreme as the Mars Exploration Rover.
In fact the suspension is based on the same principle, but somewhat
simplified. Build with one 9Volt Geared Motorblock. |

Transporter |
In the early 70’s, as a kid, I build cars like these and used it to
carry my small toycars. This <Next Generation> version features some of
the detailed special bricks we have nowadays. Real black tyres, a steering
wheel, and real clear glass headlights with reflectors for example. Ready to
roll in the dark… |
